In Germany, Christina Gkentzou reached the top of the podium at the European Para Taekwondo K44 Championships in the women’s under-65 kg category. This was her second gold medal at the competition, following her victory in Serbia in 2024.
That same year, she made history at the Paris Paralympic Games by becoming the first Greek woman to win a Paralympic medal in the sport, taking bronze.
Gkentzou spoke about her major achievements on “Athletic Voice” with Grigoris Nanis, sharing her story with Greeks around the world through ERT’s international radio service, Voice of Greece.
