Today on “Voices and Music”, we travelled all the way to southern India and Muddenahalli, where a Greek musician has chosen to dedicate his life not only to music, but also to humanity.
Dimitris Lambrianos—multi-instrumentalist, composer and conductor, a musician who can play more than thirty musical instruments—spoke to us about his remarkable journey from Athens to the great musical centers of the world and from there to India, where in recent years he has been creating an important body of work.
Guided by the power of music, he founded a large symphony orchestra made up of children from remote and impoverished villages across the country, giving them the opportunity to dream, to learn and to stand with dignity in life.
Through this journey, he has managed to send a powerful message of unity and hope to the world—captured in the phrase: “One World, One Family.” His contribution to education and music has received international recognition, as his work also led to two significant Guinness records in 2025, proving that when art meets humanity it can unite people from every corner of the earth.
It was a meeting filled with music, reflection and deep humanity—reminding us that music is not only art, but also a bridge between people.

Με οδηγό τη δύναμη της μουσικής, δημιούργησε μια μεγάλη συμφωνική ορχήστρα με παιδιά από απομακρυσμένα και φτωχά χωριά της χώρας, δίνοντάς τους την ευκαιρία να ονειρευτούν, να μάθουν και να σταθούν με αξιοπρέπεια στη ζωή.
Μέσα από αυτή την πορεία, κατάφερε να στείλει ένα ισχυρό μήνυμα ενότητας και ελπίδας στον κόσμο, ένα μήνυμα που συμπυκνώνεται στη φράση: «One World, One Family». Η προσφορά του στην παιδεία και στη μουσική αναγνωρίστηκε διεθνώς, καθώς το έργο του οδήγησε και σε δύο σημαντικά ρεκόρ Guinness το 2025, αποδεικνύοντας πως όταν η τέχνη συναντά την ανθρωπιά μπορεί να ενώσει ανθρώπους από κάθε γωνιά της γης.
Ήταν μια συνάντηση γεμάτη μουσική, σκέψη και βαθιά ανθρωπιά, που μας θύμισε πως η μουσική δεν είναι μόνο τέχνη — είναι και γέφυρα ανάμεσα στους ανθρώπους.
