The menu on the program “The Sweet Life” featured “green” gastronomy and Attica wine. In the studio of Voice of Greece, we welcomed Christos Xagoraris and Theodosis Leivathinos from the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature, and discussed sustainable nutrition and zero food waste. Together, we explored the collectible edition “Sustainable Nutrition and Zero Food Waste – 20 Chefs Suggest: Recipes and Tips”, which offers practical ideas from leading Greek chefs on how to reduce food waste in our kitchens and turn sustainability into a daily practice.
Also joining the program was winemaker Panos Samartzis, who brought us the aromas of the Mouchtaro grape variety from Askri, Boeotia, and unfolded the story of wine in the Valley of the Muses.
Finally, the program featured Evgenios Vassilikos, President of the Board of the Athens – Attica & Argosaronic Hoteliers Association, who spoke about the upcoming event “Attica Wine and Hospitality – An Untapped Added Value.” This important initiative, organized by the Athens – Attica & Argosaronic Hoteliers Association, the Attica Winemakers Association, and the Restaurants Association, aims to highlight the rich gastronomic identity of the region.
