AMFILOCHIA: We speak with Alexandros Fotopoulos, resident of Raina (a settlement near Agrinio) and member of the protest committee of Evrytanians and Aetoloacarnanians against large-scale industrial renewables.
- Othrys is a proposed site for the installation of 21 wind turbines—each 250 meters tall (!)—right in the heart of the Natura protected area GR140006, along with the surrounding Gkoura mountains and the Paliokerasia gorge.
The public consultation period ends on 15 August 2025.
