On Wednesday’s program, August 13, 2025, we began with the front pages of newspapers and news sites. We then spoke with Mr. Theodoros Tsikas, political analyst and international relations expert, about developments on the two major fronts of Ukraine and the Middle East, on the occasion of the upcoming Trump–Putin meeting in Alaska.
In the second hour, our guest in the studio was the Greek musician, composer, and performer Kallirroi Raouzaiou, who has been living permanently in Marseille and pursuing her career there for more than 15 years. We talked about her journey in music, her artistic roots from Asia Minor and Constantinople, her connection with Fado and Rebetiko, as well as her recent collaboration with Nektarios Vagianos and Stamatis Kraounakis on the song “Kokkino FIli”, which serves as a prelude to a broader artistic partnership in the coming winter.
She also spoke about her ties to Syros, the performance she will give there on August 20, her future plans, and her wish to spend more time in Greece in the future, in order to connect more closely with the Greek music-loving audience.
