Theodors Nakos, an astronomer who has been living in Chile since 2011 and works at the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observatory in the Atacama Desert, spoke about his professional journey, which took him from Volos to Belgium and eventually to the Latin American country.
Speaking on Voice of Greece radio and the program “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis, he also shared his impressions of Chile and its people, as well as the unique challenges of working at an altitude of 5,000 meters.
