Holistic doctor Nikos Papandreou was the guest of “Voices and Music”, speaking about the concept of Beauty.
The ideal of beauty in ancient Greek thought first appeared in the works of the epic (8th c. B.C.) and lyric poets (7th–6th c. B.C.) as an expression of external appearance, and gradually crystallized in the writings of philosophers from the 6th c. B.C. onward — as a harmony between outward form and the virtues of the soul.
The guest explored the Beauty that lies within our everyday lives — often unnoticed and undervalued — yet vital to harmony, well-being, and ultimately to resolving many of our problems, even those affecting our health.
