Istorima is one of the largest and most ambitious oral history projects in Greece, dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing personal stories from people all over the country. It is widely described as the largest project of its kind in Greece focused on recording and safeguarding oral histories — stories that aren’t found in history books and could otherwise be lost with time. It was created by journalist Sofia Papaioannou.
