Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Giannis Loverdos, who oversees matters concerning the Greek diaspora, joined “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis from Luxembourg, where he participated in the 134th Session of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers. He spoke about his meeting with Claude Wiseler, President of Luxembourg’s Chamber of Deputies, as well as his recent visit to Germany, where he met with members of the Greek community and German officials.
Mr. Loverdos also highlighted the significance of UNESCO’s recent designation of World Greek Language Day, following an initiative by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Though spoken by just 15 million people globally, Greek was recognized for its timeless legacy and profound cultural impact.
