Greek Australian Frank (Fanourios) Spartalis, originally from Adelaide and now living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, spoke on Voice of Greece’s “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis about his decision to settle in the Southeast Asian country, his love of motorcycles, the other Greeks he has met there, and the influence of ancient Greek philosophy on his life.
Spartalis also spoke about his father’s roots in Kastellorizo, his mother’s origins in Rhodes, and his wish to obtain Greek citizenship—a process hampered by bureaucratic obstacles in Greece.
