Xenophon Lambrakis, founder and president of the Hellenic–Eurasian Association, spoke about his personal journey — from his early years in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to his arrival in Greece at the age of seventeen — as well as about the long-standing historical ties between the two peoples, dating back to the era of Alexander the Great.
In his interview with Dimitris Kontogiannis on Voice of Greece and the program “Our Global Voice”, Dr. Lambrakis, who is a dentist by profession, also discussed the recent trip made by members and friends of the Association to Uzbekistan, where they visited the Hellenic Cultural Centre and the Greek Embassy in Tashkent, which reopened after thirty-four years.
