She spoke about the European Union–Mercosur agreement, focusing primarily on issues related to the cost of agricultural and livestock products in Argentina, as well as safety and hygiene standards. She also commented on developments in Venezuela, making special reference to Venezuelans who have migrated to Argentina in recent years.
In the second part of the program, the discussion turned to Margarita Dalamanga, the driving force behind the cultural venue Angelon Vima. The occasion was a series of performances presented on the venue’s stage under the auspices of the Australian Embassy in Greece, featuring works from Australia, as well as a stage adaptation of the powerful book by Kostas Katsapis, which brings together ten stories of migrants who traveled aboard the ship Patris to the “land of kangaroos” during the 1950s and 1960s
