In the studio of Voice of Greece, we welcomed guests from Adelaide Chryssoula Melissinaki and Panagiotis Mavraidis. They spoke about their decision, fourteen years ago, to migrate to Australia, a choice they say they have never regretted. The conversation also focused on Greek-language education — with Chryssoula Melissinaki teaching Greek to children and adult Philhellenes — as well as on the Greek Museum of Adelaide, which they founded five years ago and which is currently seeking a permanent home.
They also discussed the Greek-language radio station Melodia Adelaide, founded by Panagiotis Mavraidis, and its role within the local Greek community.
