Eirini Tourkomanoli, Head of the Greek Program at the “Socrates–Demosthenes” School, spoke about the history and structure of the school, which includes five branches and 1,000 students. She referred to its curriculum, its collaboration with the Chair of Greek Studies at McGill University, as well as the preparations for the celebration of World Greek Language Day, which will take place on 15 February.
She shared her remarks on Voice of Greece, on the program “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Ms. Tourkomanoli, who also serves as Co-Director of the “Socrates–Demosthenes” School (Branch II) and Head of the Greek Language Certification Examination Centre at the Greek Community of Montreal, also spoke about her personal journey and professional experience in the United States and Canada since leaving Greece in 1999.
