Stella Xenopoulou and Zoe Karfi, members of the Greek Community of Dublin, spoke about the “marriage” of the Greek language with Ulysses, the landmark novel by the renowned Philhellene Irish author James Joyce. They discussed a public reading of excerpts from the novel in Greek, held at Sweny’s Pharmacy, the former Victorian pharmacy in Dublin.
