The program featured political cartoonist and comics creator Soloup, who spoke about his latest graphic novel “Babel.” Artfully blending reality with fiction, the book journeys to the last Greek kafeneio in Molenbeek, wanders through the streets of Brussels, and descends into the depths of the earth, into Belgium’s coal mines. It is an elegy to life and death, and a powerful narrative of Greek — and not only Greek — migration to Belgium.
The program also featured linguist Efthymios Sipetzis, speaking from Luxembourg, on the occasion of the event organized by the Embassy of Greece to mark World Greek Language Day.
