Acclaimed actress and director Efi Pikoula-Vougiouklaki joined Prokopis Agelopoulos in the studio of “Take Your Time”.
The occasion was the timeless play Wake Up, Vasilis by Dimitris Psathas, which will be performed by the Second Adult Theatre Workshop of the Municipality of Vrilissia on Saturday, 27 June, and Sunday, 28 June, at 21:00, at the Aliki Vougiouklaki Theater in Ano Vrilissia. The production is adapted, directed, and taught by Efi Pikoula-Vougiouklaki.
One of the most beloved comedies in modern Greek theatre, Wake Up, Vasilis uses Dimitris Psathas’ sharp humor and satirical insight to illuminate the social and political tensions of an entire era, while remaining remarkably relevant today.
This new production continues the distinguished work of the Municipality of Vrilissia’s theatre groups, offering audiences a summer theatrical experience with free admission as part of the city’s cultural program.
