On Thursday, 14 May 2026, we spoke with Tenia Makri, family counselor and author, following the tragedy in Ilioupoli involving two 17-year-old girls who fell from the rooftop of an apartment building.
Immediately afterwards, Giannis Liolios, President of the “ARISTOTELIS” Association and Vice President of the Association of Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria, spoke about the Association’s participation in the committee of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, as well as Bulgaria’s role as the honored country at the 22nd Thessaloniki International Book Fair.
We closed the first hour with Ivana Tzortzevits and the latest news from the international scene and the Balkans.
At the beginning of the second hour, following the newspaper headlines, we connected with director Stavros Psyllakis, creator of the documentary “Sculpted Souls”, to discuss the awarding of Greek citizenship to Julien Grivel by Presidential Decree, which will take place on Tuesday, 19 May. Grivel is the Swiss dentist who, for 26 years, cared for the dental health of Hansen’s disease patients at the Infectious Diseases Hospital of Agia Varvara during the summer months, while developing a deep love for Greece and the Greek language.
In the final part of the program, producer and director Angeliki Pardalidou joined us in the Voice of Greece studio to discuss the world premiere of her film “Angel Pardalos” at the Beijing International Film Festival, where it was met with great success.
