On the program broadcast on Friday, 9 October 2026, after reviewing online and newspaper headlines, we connected with Kasos and spoke with Giannis Fragkoulis, president of the Dodecanesian associations, about the 17th Panhellenic Small Islands Conference, taking place on the island from 8 to 11 October at the “Emm. Marinos” Youth Center.
In the second hour, Gerasimos Andreatos joined us in the Voice of Greece studio to mark the release of his new song, “Turn the Page,” written and composed by Nikos Dellaportas, which he performs with Dimitris Zervoudakis. We discussed his artistic career, his collaborations with leading songwriters, and his greatest hits, and listened to three more of his recent songs. Much of the conversation focused on current affairs, particularly the rise of the far right and the dangers it poses to Europe and Greece. The discussion was prompted by his forthcoming collection of songs, which takes as its starting point “Bodies of Kokkinia – The Roundup,” composed by Andreas Katsigiannis with lyrics by BD Foxmoor.
The program concluded with sports news presented by Tasos Antoninis.
