On Sunday, 12 November, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Greek time, in the framework of the series “Greeks of the World – Greece in Luxembourg”, Efthimios Sipetzis, Linguist, Graduate of the University of Cambridge and Professor of Humanities in Luxembourg, engages in a discussion with visual artist Elsa Haralampous, who is showcasing her work on the occasion of her most recent solo exhibition titled “Boudoir” in Luxembourg.
Elsa Haralampous is a Greek visual artist, born in Syros, living in Luxembourg since 2021. She graduated with honors from the Athens School of Fine Arts, where he studied painting and mosaic art, and specialized in painting with a postgraduate degree. He has held several solo exhibitions and has participated in group exhibitions in Greece and all around the world. Her work is dominated by anthropocentric themes and includes painting, mosaic art, constructions, installations, computer art, and mixed media.
On the show “Greeks Around the World”, she talks about the human form as a source of inspiration and shares details from her life as an artist and as a teacher.
The discussion closes with our guest singing poetry set to music, unplugged and live at the studio, accompanied by guitar, and transporting us with her melodic voice.
