The Cycle of the Cyclades: Final destination – Paros | 05 Oct.2024, 17:00

The award-winning children’s educational book “The Cycle of the Cyclades” by Vasia Exarchou, published by Kedros in 2022, is being featured on the show “Narratives – Fairytales for children and older people” this Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 17:00 to 18:00 Athens time on Voice of Greece.

The show takes listeners on a journey through the Cyclades islands, combining mystery, adventure, and knowledge, accompanied by traditional music and songs from the islands, sourced from the archives of Simon Karas, Dora Stratou and ERT’s archives.

Our heroes, Ferdinand the hermit crab from Santorini and Consolina the monk seal (Monachus) from Kimolos, follow a unique travel guide for both young and older audiences. The eighth and final destination in the Cyclades is the island of Paros!

Produced and presented by Maria Karagiannaki Iona
Broadcast: Saturday, October 4th, 2024, from 17:00 to 18:00 Athens time
