Aris Spiliotopoulos, Strategic Communications Advisor and former minister, was a guest in the studio of Voice of Greece on the show “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos, where he commented on the political landscape. Spiliotopoulos, who has re-entered the political arena as part of Stefanos Kasselakis’ communications team, discussed the developments within the Opposition parties, SYRIZA and PASOK, as well as internal issues within the ruling party. He explained why he distanced himself politically from New Democracy, and shared his views on the space of the Center-Left and Progressive Center, including prospects for alliances in this sector against New Democracy under Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Spiliotopoulos also speculated on who might emerge as the new leader of SYRIZA-PS and potentially unify those aligned with the party’s left-wing ideology and history. He emphasized that the current data suggests Stefanos Kasselakis is in a strong position to pursue and win re-election.
