On Friday, November 22, 2024, the show “The Voice that Unites Us” with Gianna Triantafylli hosted visual artist Angeliki Angelidi, whose paintings adorn museums in South Korea. The conversation focused on her new exhibition titled “Under the Water,” which is being presented at the Jeju Stone Park Museum in Seoul.
Angeliki Angelidi studied Marketing, Management & Business Strategy and has worked professionally in the business sector. Following her vision, she graduated in 2019 from the “Vakalo Art and Design College,” specializing in Painting, Drawing – Sketching, Collage (Sewing), and Art History. From 2019 to 2021, she focused her studies on Drawing & Color Techniques in Cyprus, and from 2021 to 2022, she continued her studies in Art History at the School of Alexandros Asonitis.
Since 2019, she has been learning not only the language but also the history and culture of Korea, with an emphasis on East Asian Philosophy. In 2024, the National War Museum of Korea included her work titled “The Battle of Salamis” in its permanent exhibition, honoring this historical battle of Greece and the artist herself. Furthermore, two of her works (“The Korean War” and “Demosthenes”) adorn the walls of the National Library of the Korean Parliament.
