Vassilis Papalazarou, Biologist and Postdoctoral Fellow, was a guest on “The Voice That Unites Us” with Gianna Triantafylli in the studio of Voice of Greece.
Vassilis Papalazarou grew up in Athens and studied Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He holds an MSc in Molecular Pathology and Genetics from Queen Mary University of London and he has received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow,
He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Beatson Institute, Glasgow, UK at the University of Glasgow and he is now a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Karen Vousden at the Francis Crick Institute, London, UK, investigating cancer metabolism, cell migration and metastasis. He is a Think Tank Technology member and a MEP candidate with SYRIZA at the 2024 European Elections.
