Elena Papastamatopoulou on the show “Take Your Time” | 13 Sept. 2024

The bronze medalist in taekwondo at the Paris Paralympics, Elena Papastamatopoulou, was featured today on the show “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Aggelopoulos and spoke about her experience at the Paralympic Games.

The 22-year-old athlete, who has made our country proud and is an emerging force in her field, won the bronze medal in the +65 kg (K44) category. Elena Papastamatopoulou hails from Aetoliko and currently resides in Ioannina, where she is in her fifth year at the Ioannina Medical School.

She started practicing taekwondo at the age of ten and quickly distinguished herself for her talent and dedication to intensive training. With her high competitive level, she has won titles in several tournaments and events, both in Greece and abroad.
