Greek educator Giota Stavridou, currently on secondment in Melbourne, was today’s guest on “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos, live from the studio of Voice of Greece.
Ms. Stavridou is the coordinator of the Pedagogical Institute’s program “Hellenism of Anatolia – from the Aegean to Pontus” and also serves as Vice President of the FAROS Alliance, which aims to revitalize the teaching and use of the Greek language in Victoria and across Australia.
The discussion focused on Australia’s education system, Greek-language instruction, her nine-year experience within the Greek community in Melbourne, and the ongoing cultural and educational initiatives of the Pedagogical Institute.
