On Sunday, February 4th, 11:00-12:00 Athens time, Voice of Greece, as part of its cooperation with the Greek Communities of the Greek Diaspora, presents two outstanding Greek doctors in Denmark.
These are specialist internist-rheumatologist Melpomeni Varvouni and radiologist Dimitris Alexopoulos.
Melpomeni Varvouni is 34 years old and comes from Samos. She studied at the medical school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2007-2013), has lived in Denmark for 10 years and works as a curator at the hospital Dansk Gigthospital, in the city of Sønderborg. It is a hospital specialized in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic diseases.
Dimitris Alexopoulos is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Crete, specialized at the General Hospital of Athens “Georgios Gennimatas”. He holds the European Diploma in Neuroradiology. He has been living and working in Denmark since 2017. He is married and has 2 children.
