Interview with Nikos Xanthopoulos on the “Voice of Greece” (archive)

On Sunday, January 22, the “child of the people“, popular actor Nikos Xanthopoulos, especially loved by the Greeks of the Diaspora, passed away. The films he starred in were shown with great success abroad and he himself had repeatedly toured the Greek communities of Germany, Australia, Canada and America. On Tuesday, January 24, the “Voice of Greece” said goodbye to him by broadcasting, from its archive, the interview he had granted exclusively to Anastasia Basiouka and Natasa Vissarionos about the Greeks of the Diaspora, on the show “O Tachydromos” in January 2006, on the occasion of the publication of his autobiography “Nikos Xanthopoulos, Osa thymamai kai osa agapisa”.
