The program “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos welcomed to the studio director Panos Apostolopoulos and Marios Kritikopoulos, director and actor, on the occasion of their participation in the stage production “The Mute Bell” by Thanasis Triaridis, presented by the theatre group Rodez.
After two successful seasons in Athens, Patras and Thessaloniki — where it was presented at the 59th Dimitria Festival — the production returns for a limited run at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, starting 23 March, with performances every Monday and Tuesday at 21:30.
Written in 2003, the play addresses issues that remain strikingly relevant and continue to concern society today. The performance features four actors who remain on stage throughout, accompanied by original music influenced by traditional folk songs, lamentations (moirologia) and ecclesiastical hymns.
