On Monday, 11 December, the program welcomed the president of the Hellenic Community of Milan, Ms. Sofia Zafeiropoulou, who spoke about a special event held in Milan dedicated to Maria Callas. The event featured distinguished tenors and sopranos from around the world.
Also on the program, Ms. Aliki Kefalogianni, head of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture branch in Trieste, spoke about another tribute event—this time in Turin—organized in collaboration with the University of Turin, honoring both the legendary opera diva Maria Callas and the iconic actress Irene Papas.
