Giorgos Serafeim, who emigrated to Canada with his family seven years ago and now serves as a military officer, joined Voice of Greece’s Our Global Voice, hosted by Dimitris Kontogiannis.
During the interview, he discussed this year’s FIFA World Cup and how Canadians have embraced the tournament. He also shared insights into the historical factors that help explain differences between Canada’s provinces—particularly Alberta and the rest of the country—and spoke about touring the Great Lakes region.
Mr. Serafeim spoke to Voice of Greece on 1 July, Canada Day, which is observed as a national public holiday.
