The Thursday, 05 March 2026 edition of the program was devoted to current affairs. Following the introduction and a reference to developments related to the war against Iran, the discussion turned to the case of Golden Dawn and the Court of Appeal ruling that definitively found all 42 defendants guilty of forming a criminal organization. The issue was discussed with Eleftheria Tombatzoglou, legal counsel supporting the prosecution on behalf of the Fyssas family.

The economic repercussions of the war in the Middle East for Greece were then analyzed by Dafni Grigoriadi, Lecturer in Economics at the University of Macedonia. Before the end of the first hour, the program examined the bill concerning the participation of Greeks abroad in national elections, including voting by mail and the creation of a three-seat electoral district for the election of Members of Parliament representing the Greek diaspora. The issue was discussed with Stavros Keletsis, Member of Parliament for Evros (New Democracy) and rapporteur for the government’s bill following its approval by the plenary session.

During the second hour, the program connected with Dubai and Larnaca to hear the accounts of two Greek expatriates about the events they experienced in recent days. Guests included Menelaos Kritsimas, a Greek who has been living and working in Dubai since 2012, and Argyro Georgala, a Greek living and working in Cyprus for the past eight years.

The military operations in Iran, the reaction of the theocratic regime, and the presence of two frigates and four F-16 aircraft in Cyprus were then discussed by Giorgos Kampas, Honorary Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff. Finally, the increases in gasoline and diesel prices following the outbreak of the war were commented on by Giorgos Asmatoglou, former president of POPEK (Panhellenic Federation of Fuel Retailers).
