On Friday’s broadcast, 20 February 2026, we aligned musically and, to some extent, thematically with the festive mood of the Carnival weekend and Clean Monday.
Immediately after the newspaper headlines, we were joined by phone by Mr. Pavlos Skouras, President of KEDIP (Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Patras), to talk about the 2026 Patras Carnival.
We then turned to labour-related issues with Mr. Dionysis Temboneras, labour law expert and member of SYRIZA–Progressive Alliance. Our discussion focused mainly on salary increases through tax reductions and whether these are actually reflected in tax clearance statements, as there have been complaints suggesting otherwise.
The first hour concluded with the international news, presented by Ivana Tzortzevits.
In the second hour, actors Katerina Kentrou and Dimitris Voutsis joined us in the Voice of Greece studio to discuss the production of “Phaethon” by Dimitris Dimitriadis, staged every Monday and Tuesday at the “Fournos” Theatre.
The program concluded with the sports news, presented by Michalis Ladopoulos.
