On Friday, 20 March 2026, following a review of the day’s headlines from the internet and the press, the program focused on the economic impact of the war on our country and the measures discussed at the European Council Summit in Brussels, including the reduction of the Special Consumption Tax, with financial advisor Mr Giannis Chatzisalas. The first hour concluded with Ivana Djordjevic covering international news.
After 11:00, we spoke with Mr Giorgos Hotzoglou, President of the Panhellenic Federation of Catering and Tourism, about the signing of the sector’s collective labour agreement, as well as the impact of the war on the industry.
In the final part of the program, we welcomed to the studio theatre and film director Dimos Avdeliodis, on the occasion of the stage production of “My Mother’s Sin”, currently running from Thursday to Sunday at the Omega Stage of the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus. The production’s lead actor, Themistoklis Karpodinis, also joined us by phone.
