In the Friday, 22 May 2026 edition of “Take Your Time”, following an opening segment dedicated to current affairs and the front pages of the daily newspapers, the program welcomed political analyst Maria Karaklioumi for a discussion on the latest political developments in Greece. The conversation focused in particular on the founding declaration of Maria Karystianou’s new political party, as well as developments surrounding the proposal for a parliamentary inquiry committee into the wiretapping scandal.
Toward the end of the program’s first hour, attention turned to the educational exhibition “Virtual Tour of the Library of Ephesus: Personalities of Asia Minor”, inaugurated in Melbourne as part of this year’s ten-day tribute to the Hellenism of Anatolia (19–29 May 2026). The program connected with educator Giota Stavridou, seconded from Greece to Melbourne and serving as coordinator of the Pedagogical Institute for “Hellenism of Anatolia – From the Aegean to Pontus.”
During the second hour, the program had the honor of welcoming into the studio Swiss dentist and renowned Philhellene Julien Grivel, long known for his voluntary work with Greek Hansen’s disease patients and recently honored with the granting of Greek citizenship. Joining him was acclaimed filmmaker Stavros Psyllakis, director of the documentary Sculpted Souls.
The program concluded with a roundup of sports news presented in the studio by Tasos Antoninis.
