Nikolaos Ioannidis, President of the Greek Community of Viersen and Surrounding Areas, joined “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos to discuss the Greek Community of Viersen’s major charity initiative in support of three nonprofit organizations in Greece, which will take place on Saturday, 11 July 2026.
The event will be held at Café Crema in Nettetal, Germany, with the goal of raising funds for three important Greek organizations: Merimna Paidiou Katerinis (Child Welfare of Katerini), To Spitiko tis Agapis (The Home of Love) in Moschato, Attica, and Lampidones – KDIF SYD Ptolemaida, a day care center for people with disabilities.
The event is expected to bring together hundreds of members of the Greek diaspora, representatives of Greek associations, volunteers, business owners, and friends of Greece from across North Rhine–Westphalia.
Particularly noteworthy is the heartfelt response from the local Greek business community, with dozens of businesses, professionals, and friends of the Greek Community contributing donations in support of the initiative.
