Vrasidas Karalis, Professor of Modern Greek Studies at the University of Sydney, author, and translator, with a distinguished contribution to the promotion of Greek culture in Australia, spoke on Voice of Greece about the project “Our People, Their Stories.”
The initiative is a systematic and methodical documentation of the personal histories of members of the Greek diaspora in Australia — one of the largest and most vibrant communities of the global Hellenic world.
Professor Karalis, who served as master of ceremonies at the anniversary event for “Our People, Their Stories,” discussed on the program “Faraway Words” the importance of this unique project that preserves and shares the life stories of Greek migrants.
