We travelled to Loutraki, just a few kilometres from Athens — a town renowned since Antiquity for its thermal springs. Nestled beneath the Geraneia Mountains and close to both the Corinth Canal and Perachora (whose port it once served), Loutraki is today one of the most appealing short-distance getaways for Athenians. Access has become even easier thanks to major road networks — Attiki Odos and the Athens–Corinth National Road — as well as the suburban railway.

Anastasios Sakellariou, Deputy Mayor for Administration, Finance & Tourism of the Municipality of Loutraki–Perachora–Agioi Theodoroi, spoke to us about the modern town and its points of interest.
Maria Maniati, Public Relations manager of the Loutraki Thermal Spa, discussed the springs, the historic thermal baths, and the Spa itself.
