The show ‘‘Imprint” on Voice of Greece, with Fuli Zavitsanou, is joined by historian Menelaos Charalampidis on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of Athens from the German occupation (October 12, 1944).
He conveys the atmosphere and images of those days and explains why Athens is the only capital that does not celebrate its liberation. He also talks about the earlier years, the experience of the Resistance, and the special role that women, young people and Asia Minor refugees played in it.
