On Thursday, 22 January 2025, the program “Imprint”, hosted by Fuli Zavitsanou, met with Kostis Kornetis, Assistant Professor of Contemporary History at the Autonomous University of Madrid, on the occasion of his participation in a series of exhibitions and events marking 50 years of Democracy and Freedom in Greece and Spain.
He spoke about the comparative perspective in contemporary history, the period of the post-dictatorship transition (Metapolitefsi) and its lasting imprint on the societies of Southern European countries, as well as the revisionist trends that have emerged in recent years in the public sphere regarding its interpretation.
