OnApril 12th, 2024, right after the headlines, we hosted Mr Kostas Tsoukalas, labor expert and candidate for the European Parliament with PASOK-KINAL. Together with him, we talked about the stakes of this year’s European elections in June, focusing mainly on labor relations and workers’ rights across Europe, but also on the important social issues arising from them, with the main consequence of the rise of the far right. He also answered the question of what the stance and policies of center-left, progressive so-called parties should be at this juncture.
In the second hour of the show, a guest in the studio, newly arrived from Germany, was Mr Kostas Papakostopoulos, artistic director of the Greek-German Theatre in Cologne, with whom we talked about both theatrical events in the country where he lives, as well as the Greek reality in the field of Culture but also in Education and its relationship with the Arts.
Mrs Fotini Kollara, Foreign Education Coordinator of the Brussels Office, which coordinates Greek-language education in 10 European countries, also spoke on the occasion of the conclusions of the 29th European Teachers’ Conference, which took place on April 5th in Brussels and dealt mainly with the issue of teacher evaluation.
