“Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos | 15 May 2026

On Friday’s edition of “Take Your Time”, broadcast on 15 May 2026, labor law expert and SYRIZA–Progressive Alliance executive Dionysis Teboneras spoke about collective labor agreements in the food service sector, which are now being extended to other industries as well. He also commented on current political developments, focusing in particular on the center-left landscape ahead of the announcement of the new political parties expected to participate in the upcoming elections, including the one associated with Alexis Tsipras.

Later in the program, career counselor Konstantinos Kotios discussed issues related to career orientation ahead of Greece’s national university entrance examinations,, offering practical advice to students and families on how to approach this important challenge. Shortly before the end of the first hour, Ivana Tzortzevic unraveled the latest developments in international affairs.

During the second hour, listeners heard the interview given to Voice of Greece and “Take Your Time” by renowned singer and songwriter Themis Andreadis. We met him at his home in Nea Smyrni and journeyed back through time together — from his childhood in Kallithea to his first artistic steps in the music boîtes of Plaka, his collaboration with Giannis Markopoulos on Tarzan and Ochi Den Prepei, his musical settings of beloved poets, and his “encounter” with cartoonist Giannis Logothetis, who introduced satirical song to audiences of the era.

Andreadis also spoke about his decision to step away from singing when his record company rejected the musical direction he wished to follow, choosing instead to continue with ballads and leave satirical song behind. He reflected on the important role his family played in his life, especially his wife, a visual artist, with whom he opened an art gallery during his years away from music — a venture that flourished until the years of the economic crisis.

He also discussed the serious health issue he managed to overcome and his return to music in recent years with new original songs and live performances in the music boîtes of Plaka.
