On Friday, 29 May 2026, after an overview of the day’s current affairs and the newspaper headlines, we discussed the results of the parliamentary elections in Cyprus and the new landscape in the Cypriot Parliament, following shifts in the balance of political forces, with Andreas Iosif, journalist at CyBC and former Director of the Office of the former President of the Republic of Cyprus.
Before 11:00, we examined developments in the negotiations between the United States and Iran and the prospects for a possible ceasefire agreement with Miltiadis Sarigiannidis, Associate Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
