Our Town”, hosted by Themis Rodamitis, explores the presence of the sea in the work of Mikis Theodorakis through well-known songs and musical settings that have become closely associated with the Greek landscape, travel, memory, and poetry. It also highlights the great composer’s creative relationship with major Greek poets, including Giorgos Seferis, Nikos Gatsos, Odysseas Elytis, and Kostas Varnalis, whose verses inspired some of his most celebrated works.
