On the Friday, 19 June 2026 edition of “Take Your Time,” the program opened with a discussion on the critical issue of femicide. Criminal lawyer Vasso Pantazi shared her legal perspective on the current framework in Greece and the measures available to address and prevent such crimes.
The program then welcomed, by phone, Ioanna Katsiaflani, psychologist and staff member of the Prevention Center “Stathmos” of Kallithea and Moschato-Tavros. She spoke about the open conference on addiction treatment taking place on Saturday, 20 June, at Panteion University, where leading experts will discuss addiction policies and the State’s approach to rehabilitation and treatment services.
During the second hour, composer Areti Kokkinou and Makis Nalbantoglou, the creator and visionary behind the musical work “Ékame Krísi… me ton Chrostíra tou” (“He Judged with His Brush”), joined the program in the Voice of Greece studio. The work, composed by Areti Kokkinou and presented in concert form at the Benaki Museum last November, served as the focus of the conversation.
Listeners heard songs and instrumental pieces from the project, as well as an excerpt featuring the voice of Grigoris Valtinos, who participates in the production. The work brings together musical settings of five sonnets by two Spanish poets dedicated to Doménikos Theotokópoulos (El Greco), alongside texts from Nikos Kazantzakis’ book Report to Greco.
