Acclaimed actor Gerasimos Gennatas joined Prokopis Agelopoulos in the studio of Voice of Greece to discuss the theatrical production MANOLIS | A Heart on Four Strings, which premiered this summer and runs through 13 September at the Atrium of the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center.
Written by Ioli Andreadi and Aris Asproulis, the production explores the life and work of the great Manolis Chiotis. It is a unique work of musical theater that unfolds onstage with live music.
Gennatas spoke about the importance of Chiotis’s legacy and all that he left behind despite passing away at just 49. He described the production as tender and deeply human, rich in details that stimulate the mind and imagination, with the musical pieces serving as key elements of the narrative.
He also discussed the legendary production KOKKALO, which will be performed at Simeio Theater on 14 December, following appearances in London and Rome.
