This time, Eleni’s special guest is Patricia Koromvokis, lecturer in Modern Greek Studies at Macquarie University of Sydney.
Dr Patricia Koromvokis is the Head of the Modern Greek Studies Program of the Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language, and Literature of the School of Humanities of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
She was awarded the Academic Excellence Award in 2017 for the inclusion of her doctoral dissertation in the top 4% in research worldwide. She teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Her area of research focuses on the teaching and learning of Greek as C2/Foreign Language, the Greek diasporic identity and the teaching and learning of the Greek language for professional purposes. She has made publications in international scientific journals and conference proceedings.
