For the first time this year, the GIWA (Greek International Women Awards) ceremony will take place in Greece. On Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Pierce College Theatre, the Greek women who have excelled internationally for their achievements and actions in the professional field will be awarded.
Sofia Konstantopoulou, head of the event, talks to the Voice of Greece about the awards, the categories to be awarded, the organizing committee and the spectacular participation of Greek women in this year’s awards. The GIWA Awards are under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Secretariat for Public Diplomacy and Hellenism Abroad, the National Network of Greek Women Entrepreneurs and the Municipality of Athens.
Stanley Papulkas, director of the Greek International Film Festival Tour of Canada, talks about the Greek International Film Festival of Toronto.
