On Thursday July 11, 2024, 12:00 Athens time, Fuli Zavitsanou meets the documentarian and archivist, Jacob Moe, founder of the “Archipelagos” Network, an initiative for research and documentation of the audiovisual cultural heritage and material knowledge in the islands of the Cyclades.

The occasion for this conversation is the multi-media exhibition “Crafts of the Sea” presented by the Archipelagos Network at the Goethe Institute in Athens. At the same time, Jacob Moe will talk about the Network’s activities and initiatives, which approach this unique cultural heritage that is in danger of being lost forever amid the noise and alienation of hypertourism from both a scientific and an artistic perspective.
