Captain Panagiotis Koumaras from Ligourio wanted to become a priest, but in the end, the sea and ships won him over. Since 1967, he served the sea and Greek commercial shipping with love and dedication for 25 years, and he is grateful and happy for his choice and the life he lived. He first boarded a frozen fish ship, the “Kimo,” and gradually climbed the ranks to become a captain for major shipping companies.
